Pukka Print
Pukka Print established its reputation for producing exquisite hand block printed linen over ten years ago, whilst Jools was living with her family in Mumbai. Working exclusively with a Jaipur studio, Jools has grown the business to now produce not only hand block prints but also screen prints and weaves in Delhi and down south in Kerala also. The hallmark look for Pukka (the Hinglish word for first class and genuine) is inspired by seventeenth century chintz motifs originally painted on the Coromandel coast. Printed in a quintessentially English country house palette the fabrics are the gold standard for Indian printing by hand.
